  • Guinea pigs (indoor and outdoor)
  • Rats
  • Hamsters
  • Mice
  • Gerbils
  • Chinchillas

We also offer accommodation for a flock of up to 12 chickens, as well as accepting most reptiles.

We cannot board dogs, cats, or caged birds, however we can cater to these with our home visit services.

If your pet is not listed you can contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

What do I need to bring?

Outdoor Pets

All you need to bring is dried food and any toys you would like them to have to help them feel at home. They can use our hutches and runs and we will provide bedding and fresh vegetables (if you prefer to bring you own hutch that is fine, just let us know at the time of booking).

Indoor Pets

Please bring them in their own cage with bowls, toys and dried food. We will provide fresh food and clean bedding. If you are unable to transport your cage, contact us and we may be able to make arrangements.

Special Requirements

If your pet has any special needs (eg. dietary, bedding) please bring your own and/or let us know at the time of booking. If your pet is on any medication please bring enough to last for the duration of their stay.

How do I book?

You can use the contact page to send us a message (or phone us on 07971695502) with the details of your desired booking (type of animal, dates of stay, etc). We will respond with a quote within 24 hours, at which point a deposit of £10 is payable to finalize the booking.

Does my pet need any vaccinations?

Rabbits must be vaccinated for Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease at least 2 weeks before their stay.

Evidence of vaccinations is required (this can be obtained from your vet).

What happens if my pet becomes ill while boarding?

If your pet becomes ill during their stay we will endeavour to contact you or your emergency contact. If we are unable to contact you we will obtain veterinary treatment for your pet and proceed in their best interest. Your pet will be taken to their regular vet where possible, but in cases where it is not they will be taken to ‘Rhodes Veterinary Surgery’ in Kingsthorpe, Northampton.

Why should I choose you to look after my pet?

We are a small family business and only take a limited number of animals, which enables us to ensure your pet will have lots of individual care and attention. We started this business because we love all animals and want to give them the best possible care so we will care for your pets as if they were our own. We have many years experience in caring for small pets.

How do I know my keys/home will be secure?

We have been fully DBS checked and can provide references upon request. This is our livelihood so we take the utmost care and professionalism when performing home visits.
